Officers say the girl, a Ramapo resident, was riding her bicycle when she was hit by a 2025 GMC Hummer driven by a 34-year-old Ramapo resident. Emergency crews treated the child at the scene before she was taken by Hatzoloh ambulance to Nyack Hospital. Police say she was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officials say the driver remained at the scene. The crash is being investigated by the Ramapo Police Crash Investigation Unit.
