Russian President Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting focused on support for the families of those killed and injured in the May 22 attack on Starobelsk College in the Luhansk region.
During the meeting, Putin expressed condolences to the families of the victims and said authorities must provide assistance, compensation, medical treatment, and psychological support to those affected. He stated that 21 students were killed and dozens more injured in the incident, which Moscow has blamed on Ukraine.
Putin also called for a thorough investigation and said those responsible should face justice, declaring that “punishment will be inevitable.” The meeting included regional officials, law enforcement representatives, and senior government figures tasked with overseeing support measures and the ongoing investigation.
The attack and its aftermath come amid the continuing war between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides accusing each other of attacks on civilian areas throughout the conflict.

DY PM says let’s just say this no one can know for sure, but one thing that we do know for sure is the type of aggression that we’ve seen from Russia, trying to poke small holes and also test that the strength and determination of the NATO allies that is not a mistake.
