Police are searching for four suspects after a violent robbery in Coney Island left a 49-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman injured. According to the NYPD, the attack happened shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday near Mermaid Avenue and West 21st Street. Investigators say the suspects punched both victims, then slashed the woman in the torso and stabbed the man in the back before taking the man’s wallet and fleeing. Both victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
