5,000 US troops onboard the USS Tripoli, part of the 31st MEU, and elements of the 82nd Airborne Division have arrived in the Middle East in preperation for an upcoming ground invasion on the Islamic Republic of Iran. Currently heavy aisrstrikes continue to hit the nation, including it’s capitol, and strikes have also hit more Iranian naval forces on the coast. Iran has been confirmed to have laid mines in the Hormuz, with Mahem 3 and 7 type mines. The Houthis are also heavuly forshadowing a closure of the Bab El-Mendeb. A Large number of J-6 Drones have been diverted to the PLA’s Eastern Theater Command near Taiwan. This appears to be a possible buildup to attempt to overrun air defenses of the Island nation if war breaks out. Ukraine has slammed Ust Luga again today, and has used FP-5 Flamingo missiles to strike Russian factories along the Volga. Moscow has suffered blackouts, and surounding areas have as well. Ukraine has inflicted heavy losses onto Russian forces and is continuing to hold them at bay.

Trump.

Any potential ground operation would fall short of a full-scale invasion and could instead involve raids by a mixture of Special Operations forces and conventional infantry troops, said the officials. Options include the possible seizure of Kharg Island, a key Iranian oil export hub in the Persian Gulf, and raids into other coastal areas near the Strait of Hormuz to find and destroy weapons that can target commercial and military shipping, with one official setting the potential timeline at “a couple of months.”
