The 83-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran and cancer survivor Richard Williams has passed away from wounds sustained after been pushed in front of a NYC subway train by an illegal migrant on March 8th.
The 34-year-old illegal migrant from Honduras Bairon Posada-Hernandez had been deported from the U.S. 4 times but had managed to get back into the country for a 5th time and had found refuge in the sanctuary city of New York City.
He randomly shoved Richard Williams and another man, Jhon Pena, onto the southbound F/Q tracks.
Posada-Hernandez has now had his charges upgraded to second-degree murder.
Richard Williams had been married for 55 years and was a grandfather who had beaten prostate cancer just months earlier.
