A body believed to be the missing American Airlines flight attendant, Eric Fernado Gutierrez Molina, has been found in Colombia. Gutierrez Molina disappeared on Sunday during a night out with colleagues during a layover. CBS News correspondent Cristian Benavides has more.

A 9‑year‑old boy is recovering after being shot outside an apartment building in Brownsville Thursday evening, according to police. The shooting happened around 6 p.m. outside 391 Bristol Street, part of the Marcus Garvey Apartments. Authorities say the child was struck in his right leg and taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where he is now listed in stable condition. A neighbor told News 12 that the boy had come to the building to ask a friend to come outside and play before he was shot. What led up to the incident remains unclear, and investigators have not said whether the child was the intended target or struck by a stray bullet. Police are currently searching for three people believed to be involved, last seen wearing all black, dark blue, and light blue clothing.
