How dumb can anybody get?
If you insult everybody all the time, they will not like you.
If you start a mad war for no good reason, nobody will help you.
Happy to see that the rest of the world is so much saner than the US & Trump.
The US needs to sober up.Gandalv (@Microinteracti1)10 Countries. 0 Warships.
Trump went hat in hand to the world. The world checked its phone and put it back in its pocket.France said no. Officially. In writing. Germany said nothing, which is German for no. Norway said no. The UK is “discussing options with allies,” which is British for no. Japan stayed silent while 70% of its Middle East oil supply sits behind a minefield. South Korea watched Washington and Tehran play chicken with its own energy supply and declined to pick a side. China called it a sovereign right and hung up. Qatar didn’t just refuse. Qatar stopped production entirely and declared force majeure. Their energy minister did not mince words: this will bring down economies of the world.
Iran is still there. Still attacking ships. Still laying mines. Still holding the strait.
The most powerful military on Earth sent out the call. Ten countries heard it. The result is a number that requires no commentary: zero. This is what the end of American power looks like in practice. A request for warships that came back empty. Washington spent decades telling the world that the US-led order was worth defending. The world has moved away from the US.

How can this substandard person be a public official at any level?Brian Allen (@allenanalysis)Pete Hegseth just had a meltdown at the Pentagon podium.
His message to the press: questioning this war is offensive to the troops.
This is the same Pete Hegseth who:
— Refused to give a casualty number when asked directly
— Watched 14 Americans die including six in a KC-135
— Presided over the concealment of 30 wounded soldiers in Kuwait
— Oversaw the bombing of a girls’ school his own military confirmed was a targeting error
— Said the Strait was open while Iran was sinking ships in it
Now he’s at the podium demanding the press celebrate.
Sergeant Benjamin Pennington came home in a flag-draped coffin at Dover while Trump was at his golf club.
Major Klinner’s twins are 7 months old.
Capt. Ariana Savino was 31.
Tech. Sgt. Tyler Simmons was 28.
Pete Hegseth wants a celebration.
The Secretary of Defense who won’t release a casualty count is lecturing journalists about supporting the troops.
@ShawnMcCreesh asked the hard question about dead schoolgirls.
That’s what supporting the troops actually looks like.
Holding power accountable so fewer of them come home in flag-draped coffins.
Never stop connecting the dots.
