The size of a test tube is usually about 10 to 20 cm in length and 1 to 2 cm in width. It is used to hold small quantity of liquid, solid or biological sample. Blood, urine, culture medium and chemical solution can be kept in it. Test tube is used in chemistry, biology and medical laboratory.
