Instead of using Marriott Bonvoy points, I booked through AMEX’s Fine Hotels & Resort (FHR) portal, thanks to my AMEX Platinum card. I paid out of pocket because EDITION hotels are exempted from the free breakfast list, and they don’t allow Suite Night Awards either.
