A successful war requires both: halting enemy advances and defeating them along the active frontlines as well as attacking and destroying strategic and tactical assets such as SAM or ballistic missiles batteries, C&C or logistics nodes, training camps or other enemy concentrations, and war-supporting infrastructure deep behind enemy lines.
