Russia, Germany, Israel Hypothesis: The Missing Links – Operation 9/11 – Google AI
Alternative Theories
Origin: The phrase relates to alternative theories and books published around 2003 regarding the September 11 attacks, notably by former German state minister Andreas von Bülow (The CIA and September 11) and German journalist Gerhard Wisnewski (Operation 9/11), which were edited or published by Mathias Bröckers. [1]
Core Claims: These authors and associated speculative narratives questioned the official narrative, proposing various forms of complicity, advance knowledge, or covert operations involving Western or foreign intelligence agencies rather than accepting the account outlined by the 9/11 Commission. [1]
Official Findings: Official investigations—including the 9/11 Commission Report and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) studies—alongside broad historical and expert consensus, reject these hypotheses and confirm that the attacks were planned and executed by al-Qaeda. x.com/mikenov/status/2110709…Michael Novakhov (@mikenov)Gerhard Wisnewski (Operation 9/11) –Operation 9/11: Angriff auf den Globus is a book by German author and filmmaker Gerhard Wisnewski, originally published in 2003. The book is widely recognized as one of the foundational German-language texts of the 9/11 truth movement, promoting alternative theories regarding the September 11 terrorist attacks. [1, 2]
About the Book
In Operation 9/11, Wisnewski challenges the official consensus that the attacks were orchestrated solely by Osama bin Laden and nineteen hijackers. He argues instead that the events of September 11, 2001, involved internal orchestration or complicity by intelligence agencies and government factions. The book heavily analyzes specific anomalies alleged by conspiracy theorists, such as the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 and the nature of the damage at the Pentagon. [1, 2]
Initial Publication: August 1, 2003, by Droemer Knaur. [1]
Impact: It became a bestseller in Germany and was translated into multiple languages, finding a highly receptive audience amidst the heightened European anti-war sentiment during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. [1, 2, 3]
Media Tie-in: Coinciding with the book’s release, Wisnewski co-directed a documentary for the German public broadcaster WDR titled Aktenzeichen 11. September ungelöst (“Case File Sept 11 Unsolved”), which was one of the earliest critical 9/11 broadcasts on mainstream European television. [1, 2]About Gerhard Wisnewski
Born in 1959, Wisnewski began his career as a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker for prominent German public broadcasters (including ARD, ZDF, and WDR). He initially gained notoriety in 1992 after co-authoring Das RAF-Phantom, a book alleging that late-stage actions attributed to the far-left militant group Red Army Faction (RAF) were actually state-sponsored operations. [1, 2]
Over the years, Wisnewski transitioned fully into a conspiracy theorist and alternative media figure. He has written books questioning the Apollo moon landings (One Small Step?) and the operations of the Bilderberg Group. He also publishes a long-running annual book series titled verheimlicht – vertuscht – vergessen (“Hidden – Covered Up – Forgotten”), which evaluates current events through a conspiratorial framework. In recent years, his work has aligned closely with right-wing populist media outlets in Germany. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
