An Azerbaijani court has sentenced eight Russian nationals to three and four-year prison terms after they were arrested in Baku during the height of tensions between Azerbaijan and Russia in the summer of 2025. The Russians were convicted of trafficking large quantities of drugs from Iran and cyber crimes.
