A former Stratford High School wrestling coach is accused of sexually assaulting a student three years ago. Jordan Miron, 36, of Stratford, was the current head wrestling coach at Staples High School in Westport but resigned two days before his arrest, according to the school district’s superintendent. Miron made a brief first appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court charged with second-degree sexual assault. The Public Defender’s Office was assigned to represent him, and the judge issued a protective order barring Miron from contact with the former Stratford student at the center of the case.Dominguez told News 12 the woman is now 20 but was assaulted in the summer of 2023 when she was a student at Stratford High School and Miron was the wrestling coach.
