Two people were killed and three others were left injured after a shooting at a shopping center in Texas on Tuesday. It occurred in the Koreatown area of Carrollton, about 20 miles north of Dallas, according to reports. The 69-year-old suspect was later arrested after a short police chase.

On May 4, acting under the direction of U.S. Southern Command commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal strike against a vessel linked to designated terrorist organizations. Intelligence reports indicated the vessel was operating along established drug-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and actively involved in narcotics smuggling. Two suspected narco-terrorists were killed in the operation, and no U.S. service members were injured.
