We’ll be walking along the waterfront, through different neighborhoods, parks, bridges, hidden paths, city views, and iconic NYC scenery as we try to complete one of New York’s most unique urban walking challenges.
The Great Saunter is an annual endurance walk organized by Shorewalkers, bringing thousands of walkers together to circle Manhattan while celebrating public access to NYC’s waterfronts. It’s a physical and mental challenge, but also a beautiful way to experience the city from a completely different perspective.
