The crisis at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant is escalating fast. Russia is now pulling more of its personnel out of the major Iranian power plant, signalling growing fears over safety on the ground. According to Iran, one of the site’s physical protection staff members was killed by a projectile fragment and a building on site was affected by shockwaves and splinters in the attack, which it blamed on the US and Israel. At the same time, Moscow has issued a strong condemnation of the latest strike near the nuclear facility.
