U.S. hostilities with Iran that began in February have “terminated” for purposes of the War Powers Resolution, according to a senior administration official to Reuters. “Both parties agreed to a 2-week ceasefire on Tuesday, April 7, that has since been extended…there has been no exchange of fire between U.S. Armed Forces and Iran since Tuesday, April 7.”

Russia is on fire in multiple regions, and choking with toxic smoke after another Ukrainian attack has hit the major refinery in the city of Perm. The scene is identical to the historic fire at Tuapse, where colums of fire reach hundreds of feet into the sky, followed by thick billowing clouds of toxic black smoke, now travelling in the air over a large area of the interior of Russia. Ukraine also hit the Tuapse refinery again tonight agter the previous fires had been extinguished leading to another fire erupting on the grounds of the refinery. Chaos has erupted in Tehran, with the bursts of Air Defense fire being heard in the southern areas of the city. It is believed that some unknown drones have breached the airspace and are currently over the capital city of Tehran. The US is heavily considering the resumption of strikes after the congress stated that it “isn’t a war,” and therefore no vote on the war powers act is even needed. US ships have continued the blockade in the Gulf of Oman, and multiple countries in the area are still preparing for the return of war.
