As the situation in Tuapse resembles a full-scale environmental disaster, Russian authorities say there is no reason for concern.
Officials claim the situation is under control, pollution levels do not exceed нормы, and there are no grounds for evacuation.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the facility on April 20, with fires breaking out in at least 11 locations. During a previous attack on April 16, the refinery burned for three days.

The library houses a diverse collection of literary and scientific books, and includes a children’s section, its name reflecting Gaza’s rise from the rubble. “We retrieved the books from amidst the rubble many of which were in poor condition and proceeded to sort and clean them,” says library owner Omar Hamad.

Trump indefinitely pushed back the end of the two week truce, crediting a request from mediator Pakistan and stressing the need to give Iran’s “fractured” leadership time to form a proposal. But he said the US blockade of Iran’s ports – a sticking point for Tehran – would continue.
