What could trigger unrest in our northern neighbor? First and foremost, large-scale mobilization in Russia – meaning mobilization from major cities, including Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The restrictions tell us that no one in Russia would accept mobilization at this scale.
Today, mobilization in Russia is disguised as contract service. But adding one to one and a half million personnel to the active army would require full mobilization, because recruiting such numbers through contracts is too costly.
Why is large-scale mobilization needed? To launch another major offensive against Ukraine. Or option B, which requires lower costs and less effort, is to carry out small simultaneous offensive in areas where smaller combat forces will suffice.

We want to be in the European Union. And I am confident that if some representatives of the EU do not make mistakes, we will be there. We are already strengthening the EU, first and foremost from a security perspective. And today, security is a priority for everyone.
A union that could be much stronger – I believe this would be a union of such countries as Norway, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Türkiye. These are four countries that the European Union is lacking. Because Türkiye and Ukraine together outmatch Russia’s army: from control of the Black Sea to control of airspace.
I know there are questions when it comes to Türkiye. I know that the United Kingdom has left the European Union. I know that Norway has many different forms of cooperation and economic ties with the EU, and so on. But I still believe that these four countries would make the EU the strongest union in the world, with the best security in the world.
We are not seeking an alternative. I simply believe that these four countries are very strong and would make the European Union stronger. And even these four countries on their own would certainly form a very strong union.

Today, Ukraine has 200 very strong defense companies, 30 of which rank among the world’s top. These include drones, artillery, armored vehicles, highly advanced demining drones, and ground robotic systems.
My task is not to lose Ukraine’s reputation. When we talk about security partnerships at the G2G level – government-to-government – this begins with a framework agreement. Then, on that basis, companies enter the country and conduct negotiations. If I secure a one-billion-dollar deal, we will receive taxes on that one billion. The companies are chosen by the customer and the private sector. Let them compete – competition is normal.
We must also expect that Ukraine’s future economy is not just agriculture. We have built a strong defense-industrial complex. “Made in Ukraine” is now a high-value brand. I constantly emphasize to representatives of the private sector that the price of this product is not only money and technology, but also the lives of people who use our equipment.
