🔴 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 | 𝗧𝗘𝗛𝗥𝗔𝗡 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗢𝗨𝗧 – 𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗧 𝗕𝗢𝗠𝗕 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧
𝘿𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚.Multiple reports indicate that IDF and/or U.S. CBU-94/B graphite “Blackout” bombs, or variants, were deployed overnight against Tehran’s power infrastructure.
Sources are diverse. They include Iranian government statements, state media, local eyewitnesses, and defense-focused OSINT.
Eyewitness accounts describe explosions followed by fine particulate dispersal consistent with carbon filament deployment over the Pirouzi district.
Iranian state media, citing the Energy Ministry, reported outages across parts of Tehran and Alborz province, including Karaj, following U.S.-Israeli strikes on March 29, 2026. Reported damage includes a high-voltage transmission tower in Alborz and a substation in Tehran.
Fars later reported that electricity has been restored and remains stable. That rapid recovery is not conclusive, but it is consistent with the use of a “soft” grid disruption weapon.
Opposition media characterized the strikes as a possible preparatory measure for ground operations.
The CBU-94/B disperses clouds of conductive carbon filaments via BLU-114/B submunitions. These filaments settle on high-voltage lines, transformers, and substations, causing short circuits and triggering protective shutdowns without kinetic destruction.
No direct casualties were reported. The effect is electrical, not explosive, so that systems can be restored after cleanup.
The U.S. used BLU-114/B submunitions in Iraq in 1991, knocking out a significant portion of the national grid in hours.
NATO deployed the same family against Serbia in 1999.
Both times, the effect preceded or accompanied ground operations that required degraded enemy command, communication, and logistics.
The secondary benefit of the weapon is that it preserves infrastructure you intend to leave operational.
