Europeans to press US Rubio over war in the Middle East at G7 meeting

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday arrived at a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in France for talks expected to be dominated by tensions over the war against Iran. Making his first trip abroad since the US-Israeli war on Iran broke out on February 28, Rubio is expected to be pressed by European and other allies over American strategy for the further conduct of the conflict which has led to a spike in global energy prices.
