Wicked weather, Rep. Nancy Mace, cartel killing backlash, 1980 US hockey hero | CUOMO Full Show 2/23

Chris Cuomo begins with the massive winter storm that blanketed the Northeast United States in snow. He takes viewers on a tour of the storm in his own neighborhood with video he shot, along with tips to keep viewers safe. Then, he pivots to what could be a break in the search for Nancy Guthrie. NewsNation Senior National Correspondent Brian Entin joins “CUOMO” with a newly released video that shows the masked suspect at the Guthrie residence days before the 84-year-old went missing, proving this was a return appearance.
Conservative criticism is growing of California Governor Gavin Newsom after an appearance on his book tour where he was being interviewed by Atlanta’s Mayor Andre Dickens, who is African American, in front of a diverse audience. Newsom claimed “I’m like you” before saying he scored a 960 on the SAT, prompting cries of racism from conservatives who said he was attempting to relate to African Americans by downplaying his intelligence. Newsom defended the remarks by saying he was merely relaying his battle with dyslexia and that anyone could overcome similar challenges. The host of “The Aggressive Progressive” podcast, Chris Hahn, and former Trump White House communications staffer, Harrison Fields, joined “CUOMO” to debate the comments and whether they would impact a Newsom run for president in 2028.
Monday saw new fallout from the Epstein files as longevity influencer Dr. Peter Attia resigned his new contributor post at CBS News, and a former British ambassador to the U.S. was arrested and questioned in the U.K. after their ties to Epstein were recently revealed. South Carolina Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace went to the Justice Department today to read unredacted Epstein files for the third time. She joined “CUOMO” with her plans to give the House Oversight Committee a list of people to investigate.
Mexican authorities killed the country’s most-wanted drug cartel kingpin, Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes, who led the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. Gang members responded with widespread violence across Mexico, killing dozens and leaving tourists, including many Americans, stranded in the country as they wait for the violence to subside. Former CIA Special Agent Tracy Walder and former Drug Enforcement Administration Chief of International Operations Mike Vigil tell Chris Cuomo what this means for the war on cartels and if the U.S. could see any blowback from the killing.
U.S. Olympics fans are still celebrating the U.S. Men’s Hockey Team’s dramatic 2-1 overtime win over Canada in the gold medal game, 46 years to the day the 1980 U.S. team pulled off a historic 4-3 upset win over the Soviet Union in the semifinal. The man who scored the game-winning goal in America’s 4-2 victory over Finland in the 1980 gold medal game, Rob McClanahan, joins “CUOMO” to celebrate.

Chris Cuomo hosts “CUOMO,” a no-nonsense show featuring the day’s most important news from all perspectives. “CUOMO” airs weeknights at 8p/7C on NewsNation. #CUOMO

El Mencho dead: Puerto Vallarta chaos, Nancy Guthrie update | Katie Pavlich Tonight Full Show 2/23

Tonight on “Katie Pavlich Tonight”: The hunt for Nancy Guthrie takes a big turn as Brian Entin brings us new reporting that the suspect may have gone to Nancy’s home a day before the abduction. Then, a nightmare scenario in Puerto Vallarta. The popular tourist destination has turned into a cartel war zone following a massive Mexican military operation that killed the notorious “El Mencho.” With buses torched and businesses in flames, stranded Americans are being told to shelter in place. USA Today’s Will Carless joins us live from a hotel in Mexico, alongside Border Patrol agent Art Del Cueto, to break down the chaos. In Washington, a MAHA movement civil war is brewing. Kansaa Republican Senator Roger Marshall joins Pavlich to explain why he supports the movement but insists Kansas farmers can’t survive without glyphosate, directly contradicting RFK Jr.’s pledge to ban the chemical. Can you really be “Make America Healthy Again” while keeping herbicides on the table? Finally, Steve Hilton joins the show to react to Gavin Newsom’s latest “relatability” blunder. While speaking in Atlanta, the California governor managed to insult his audience by calling himself a “960 SAT guy.”

“Katie Pavlich Tonight” offers a conservative take on the day`s events while welcoming all viewpoints. The goal: cutting through left-right bias in pursuit of plain facts and honest analysis. Weeknights at 10p/9C.
