“This young man, who appeared to be a minor, was walking down the street with a snack in his hand when masked men, in three tinted vehicles, identifying as armed Border Patrol agents pulled up to him and began questioning him in Spanish about his citizenship,” photographer Mostafa Bassim wrote in the caption for the picture, which he took.

“The encounter took place in Minneapolis, where he was stopped while alone, without any parent, guardian, or family member present,” he continued. “It is unclear whether anyone knew where he was or what was happening to him. After he was unable to produce documentation proving his citizenship, agents informed him that he was under arrest and forcibly detained him.”

“As he was being taken away, the young man asked, ‘Can I just go home?’ An agent responded, ‘No, you are not going home,’ before taking him into one of their vehicles.”

This is the perfect crystallization of Trump’s fascist crackdowns. He claimed that he wanted to go after violent criminals, and instead his goons are terrorizing innocent Americans and helpless children. Enough is enough. These people need to be unmasked and prosecuted for violating the Constitution!
