Rep. Ayanna Pressley put the Oversight Committee’s witnesses on the spot by questioning them about some of President Trump’s pardons and the commuted sentence of Long Island’s lying former Rep. George Santos.
After buttering the witnesses up with questions about the importance of holding fraudsters accountable, Pressley turned to some of the president’s pardons. The GOP’s witnesses declined to answer.
Pressley then got into a shouting match with Chairman James Comer and Nancy Mace over reclaiming her time amid interruptions.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem laid out new plans to increase security at the Southern border by deploying a 500-mile barrier of water buoys. “These barriers will make it harder for illegal aliens, drug smugglers and human traffickers to cross the river,” Noem said. “Securing our waterways not only protects Americans, it saves the lives of illegal aliens by deterring them from daring to attempt to cross through this treacherous water.”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey did not mince words when addressing the public about an ICE officer who gunned down a woman during an immigration operation Wednesday.
“To ICE, get the f–k out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here,” Frey said during a fiery press conference after the shooting.
