China secretly supplies millions of drone engines to the Russian military
According to reports prepared for the U.S. and European governments, Russian companies have been purchasing millions of Chinese-made engines and components for drones later used against Ukraine.
In 2024 alone, Russia bought over 3.3 million motors from the company Shenzhen Kiosk Electronic, with Moscow-based LLC Rustakt listed as the recipient.
These motors are classified as dual-use goods — they can be used in consumer products like washing machines or scooters, but Russia installs them in combat drones.
Official Beijing strongly denies providing any assistance to Russia in its war against Ukraine.
