Kubota Corporation to invest ₹2,000 crore in Haryana following talks in Osaka

Kubota Corporation to invest ₹2,000 crore in Haryana after CM Nayab Saini’s Osaka meeting to boost agricultural manufacturing and jobs

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that Kubota Corporation will invest ₹2,000 crore in Haryana, following in-depth discussions with senior officials at the company’s tractor plant in Osaka, Japan, reports 24brussels.

Saini revealed this development on October 8, 2025, asserting that the investment will enhance the state’s industrial and agricultural sectors, introduce advanced agricultural technologies, and create significant employment opportunities for local youth. The announcement aligns with Saini’s official visit to Japan, which is focused on attracting foreign investments and promoting industrial growth in Haryana.

During his visit, Saini inaugurated the Haryana Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 on October 7, where he underscored the state’s critical role in India’s overall development. Despite comprising only 1.34 percent of India’s land area and 2.09 percent of its population, Haryana has emerged as a significant driver of the nation’s economic progress.

Haryana ranks second nationally and first in North India for providing logistics support to industries. The state is home to the offices of 400 Fortune 500 companies in Gurugram and is responsible for manufacturing every second vehicle on India’s roads, along with 52 percent of the country’s tractors.

Moreover, Haryana contributes substantially to India’s Central Foodgrain Pool and boasts a track record of success in international sports competitions, having secured the most medals in the Olympics and other events. The state serves as a major hub for the automobile, IT, and various other industries, with robust communication infrastructure, industrial estates, wide highways, expressways, and metro rail systems.

Saini highlighted that every district in Haryana is connected to national highways and that the entire state is electrified, with reliable access to drinking water and irrigation facilities. He emphasized that the Haryana Government has fostered an ecosystem conducive to Ease of Doing Business, thereby enhancing industrial growth and building entrepreneurs’ confidence in government support.

Due to multiple incentive programs, Haryana has become a preferred destination for both domestic and international investors. A high-level delegation, including Haryana’s Minister of Industries and Commerce, Rao Narbir Singh, accompanied Saini on his visit to Japan.

On the second day of their trip, the Chief Minister and his team traveled from Tokyo to Osaka on the Shinkansen Bullet Train, recognized for its advanced infrastructure and safety standards. Saini remarked that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is progressing toward a transportation revolution, with the development of a high-speed train corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad — the nation’s first bullet train project.

He expressed that the experience of riding Japan’s Shinkansen Bullet Train is inspirational and projected that Indian citizens would soon benefit from similar fast, safe, and comfortable travel options. Saini reaffirmed that Haryana, alongside the rest of India, will draw from Japan’s expertise to enhance its transportation systems.
