A medical transport jet carrying a child patient, her mother and four others has crashed into a Philadelphia neighborhood about 30 seconds after taking off, erupting in a fireball and engulfing several homes in flames.

The plane, a Learjet 55, was carrying a child patient, her mother and four other people when it crashed at a busy intersection near Roosevelt Mall in Philadelphia.

This will be the fourth hostage release since the ceasefire deal was agreed on 19 January, with more Palestinian prisoners expected to be freed.
