The march, the first in several years funded by local government funds and 29 embassies, took place without government support, unfolding in a festive spirit that called for demonstrations against government policies, including opposition to the closure of organizations like INADI (National Institute Against Discrimination, Xenophobia, and Racism) and other diversity spaces.
