The smallest province of Pakistan by area is the province of “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” (KPK), formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP). The province covers an area of 74,521 square kilometers and is located in the northwestern region of Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan.
