U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot today and will speak at a joint presser with him any minute now. One topic of conversation could be the upcoming talks between Iran and the UK, France, and Germany (collectively known as the E3) in Geneva, Switzerland, on January 13 on the potential for a new “Euro-Iranian” nuclear deal that might exclude the United States.
