Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced yesterday that he had ordered the Texas Military Department, to deploy the Texas Tactical Border Force to the Rio Grande Valley, on the U.S-Mexico Border. The Force consists of roughly 400 National Guard Troops, C-130 Military Transport Aircraft, and CH-47 Chinook Heavy-Lift Helicopters which will be immediately deployed to the Border, to join both National Guard and Active-Duty Personnel already deployed in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
