Set Default Data File for Outlook 2016 Greetings! This is actually an issue I’ve had since the 2013 version too, but anyway: When I installed Outlook onto my computer, I set it up to work with my Outlook.com account through EAS. Everything worked fine, things went in the right folders, etc. The .ost file is stored in my local AppData folder.
