Just under 12 hours before President Donald Trump’s self-imposed 8 p.m. ET Tuesday deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, he warned on Truth Social that a “whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.” This comes after his Easter morning missive, where in an expletive-laced post, he said in part, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran.
