Reporting from Jerusalem, FRANCE 24’s Noga Tarnopolsky says the US-Iran truce deal is likely to be “a major problem domestically” for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The right-wing Israeli prime minister’s base “was expecting regime change, was expecting something very dramatic” with the Iran war. The two-week ceasefire agreement falls short of their expectations, Tarnopolsky notes.
