The IRGC has officially confirmed that Gen. Majid Khademi, head of their Intelligence Protection Organization, was killed during a U.S. – Israeli strike on the morning of April 6, 2026.
The Intelligence Protection Organization is the IRGC’s internal counterintelligence arm, responsible for surveilling its own personnel for infiltration and loyalty.
Khademi’s demise will degrade the IRGC’s ability to identify threats within its own ranks.
