An investigation is ongoing after Patchogue-Medford School District officials said a district rover saw a man engaging in inappropriate behavior on school grounds at Eagle Elementary School over the weekend. In a letter to the community sent on Monday, Patchogue-Medford Interim Superintendent of Schools Lori Cannetti said security directed the man to leave after catching the man exposing himself on Sunday, March 29. The district said it immediately launched an investigation. Officials reviewed security footage from Sunday and prior days and found that the same person also engaged in similarly inappropriate behavior near school grounds on Saturday, March 21. The district then notified the Suffolk County Police Department of both incidents.
