Kochi Police Arrest Filmmaker Ranjith Following Actor’s Sexual Assault Allegation Case

Malayalam filmmaker Ranjith has been arrested by Kochi city police following a fresh sexual harassment complaint by a woman actor. He has been admitted to Ernakulam General Hospital for a mandatory medical examination. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bhartiya Nair Sanhita, and the investigation is currently underway. The complainant has alleged that the director attempted to sexually assault her during the shooting of a film.
