An off-duty NYPD sergeant is accused of drunk driving when she fatally crashed into a Peekskill man on the Taconic State Parkway in January. State police say 47-year-old Tiffany Howell was driving south in the northbound lanes in Mount Pleasant. She crashed head-on into a car being driven by 61-year-old Manuel Boitel, according to the New York State Attorney General’s Office. Boitel was driving home from his longtime job as a doorman in Manhattan. Howell faces several charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide.
