Putin says Russia is ready to pay $1 billion for permanent membership in Trump’s “Board of Peace” using funds frozen in the U.S.
Commenting on Greenland, Putin said the island could be valued at $200–250 million, adding that the U.S. could “afford” such a purchase if prices were comparable to those at which Russia sold Alaska. He also claimed Denmark has historically treated Greenland harshly, “like a colony.”
Putin also confirmed plans to meet with Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
