🇫🇷 French media have published new video footage of the Louvre heist
The newly released video reveals serious security failures at the world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris. It shows burglars smashing through a supposedly bulletproof display case with just a few targeted blows.
In October, thieves broke into the Louvre in broad daylight and escaped in under eight minutes with jewelry worth €88 million.
Four men in their thirties, arrested in October and November, are suspected of carrying out the robbery on October 19, 2025.
Among the suspects is Abdoulaye, an unlicensed taxi driver who previously posted motorcycle stunt videos on social media. Another is a 35-year-old Algerian man detained in October while preparing to fly out of Paris.
The footage shows that brute force and simple tools were enough to steal jewelry worth €88 million.

🇪🇸 At least 39 people have been killed and 170 others injured after two high-speed trains derailed in southern Spain.
According to Spain’s transport minister Óscar Puente, the rear section of the first train derailed and slammed into the front of a second train, knocking its first two carriages off the tracks and down a four-metre embankment. The worst damage was to the front section of the Renfe train.
The death toll has continued to rise since the incident, and Puente warned it could increase further throughout Monday. Local officials say most of those missing are from the cities of Huelva, Cartaya, Lepe, and Aljaraque, El País reports.
Renfe president Raül Blanco Fernández Heredia said the time between the derailment and the collision was just 20 seconds.
