Khamenei threatens Trump with “overthrow” amid mass protests in Iran
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei broke his silence and, for the first time since the protests began in Iran, publicly declared that U.S. President Donald Trump would be “overthrown,” along with other world leaders he described as tyrants.
“Trump must know that tyrants such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Shah, and Mohammad Reza were overthrown at the height of their arrogance. The same fate awaits Trump,” Khamenei said.
Earlier, Donald Trump told Fox News that Washington is ready to intervene if Iranian security forces begin using weapons against protesters. According to him, the U.S. has warned Iranian authorities of a “very harsh response” if demonstrators are killed.
Meanwhile, following last night’s anti-regime protests and the internet shutdown in Iran, videos and photos have begun to surface showing dozens of dead protesters. Islamic security forces reportedly used live ammunition, shooting people in the streets.

Russia has confirmed that it struck Ukraine with an “Oreshnik” IRBM
Russia’s Ministry of Defense claimed that the launch toward Lviv was retaliation for an alleged drone attack on Putin’s residence.
However, Moscow has so far failed to provide any credible evidence that such an attack was carried out by Ukraine, or that it occurred at all. Following the strike, Putin withdrew from Trump’s peace plan.
