The family of Uber driver Issa Isaac-Mbolo broke their silence to speak exclusively with News 12 following the New Year’s Day shooting that took his life. Abibata Zono, his aunt, says she is still trying to wrap her head around the unthinkable loss of her humble, hardworking nephew. His younger brother, Mounirou Zorome, told News 12 that the shock has not worn off. “We just don’t have words to express, the anger and frustration that this incident created,” Zorome said. Police say Mbolo was headed home early that morning after a long night of driving Uber when his life was cut short. The NYPD has just released a photo of the man authorities say pulled the trigger.
