Prime Minister @AlboMP and I discussed Ukraine’s defense and Russian strikes against Ukrainian cities and communities.
The Prime Minister committed to helping, and I am very grateful for that. Air defense missiles are needed every day, just as support for our defense is.
I briefed him on the situation in diplomacy and outlined our next steps. The Prime Minister commended our efforts. I am thankful for his kind words about Ukraine and Ukrainians.
I also personally expressed my condolences to the Prime Minister regarding the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach last month. Six of the victims were of Ukrainian origin.
