Russia’s Defence Minister Andrey Belousov has delivered a sweeping battlefield assessment, claiming Ukraine has lost nearly half a million troops as Russian forces maintain what he called a decisive strategic initiative. Speaking during a military briefing, Belousov said Russian units have accelerated advances across multiple fronts, liberated hundreds of settlements, and expanded security buffer zones near Russia’s borders. He argued that Ukraine’s defensive collapse is now inevitable, with Western backers fully aware of the situation. Moscow also claims Kyiv’s ability to replenish manpower and produce weapons has been severely degraded, while Russian recruitment and precision strike effectiveness continue to rise.
As one of its close allies, Iran condemned the attacks on Venezuela as “a blatant violation of its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.” All of this comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran are on the rise, as well.
That’s because the protests all over Iran show no sign of slowing down: People across the country are continuing to voice their anger at the Islamic Republic. According to official sources at least ten people have now been killed, most of them protesters. And just on Friday the U-S president warned that if Tehran “violently kills peaceful protesters,” the United States “will come to their rescue.”
