Russia defense minister: Tension remains around Armenia’s Syunik Province

Russia is interested in a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said, TASS reports.
“Tension remains around Armenia’s Syunik province,” Belousov said, noting Moscow’s interest in the signing of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan.
He added that Russia is ready to assist in the signing of a peace treaty in every way.
