India’s High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, showed a photo and claimed it depicts Pakistani military personnel standing behind Hafiz Abdul Rauf, a ‘sanctioned terrorist under the American sanctions regime’. Doraiswami, held up what he described as undeniable evidence of Pakistan’s complicity in sponsoring terrorism both within its own soil and across the border in India.
