As Romanians vote Sunday in the first round of a presidential election rerun, experts voice concern over the potential win of far-right candidate George Simion. “The worst possibility is for Romania to become another Hungary,” said Sorin Ionita, President of Expert Forum, citing Hungary’s outlier role in the European Union.
