The People’s Action Party has secured another general election landslide, extending its 66-year unbroken rule. Its improved performance on Saturday is a huge boost for Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, who came to power in 2024. The PAP won 87 out of a total 97 Parliamentary seats, with the remaining retained by he opposition Workers Party.

President Trump’s proposed budget would cut money from NASA science programs, prioritizing missions to Mars instead.
