The owners of El Nopal in Park Slope say they were scammed out of thousands after a hacker got into their Grubhub account. Miguel Tufino and Elsa Zamora, the owners of El Nopal, say on April 7 they got an email from Grubhub notifying them of changes to their account. They say they immediately called and alerted the delivery service. Three days later, they discovered they had been hacked, and the scammers stole $7,000. Tufino says Grubhub orders are about 60% of their income, and this loss is hitting hard. For two weeks after the hack, Tufino says they were locked out of their account.
