Some disappointed Hulk Hogan fans say they were turned away empty-handed last week after standing in line and waiting for hours for a promised meet-and-greet with the entertainment icon in Orange County. The fans reached out exclusively to News 12 saying they waited four hours at the ShopRite in Montgomery for a promised meet-and-greet with Hogan during one of his stops in the Hudson Valley to promote his new beer brand, Real American Beer.

House passes a six-month extension of federal government funding to prevent a government shutdown on Friday, 217-214.

President Donald Trump initially announces a doubling of tariffs on steel and aluminum from Canada from 25% to 50% but rescinds it after Ontario Premier Doug Ford says his previously announced 25% tariff on electricity exported to the U.S. will be suspended while further trade negotiations continue. Dow Jones Industrial Average falls 478 points.

The White House says Elon Musk comments about Social Security and other entitlements being the ‘big ones’ to find savings only referred to fraud in those programs.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio after meeting with Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia announces Ukraine has agreed to a 30 day ceasefire with Russia and the ‘ball is in Russia’s court’. Secretary Rubio also says the U.S. will resume military intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

NTSB releases a preliminary report on the deadly helicopter and plane collision in January near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and calls for a permanent change in the helicopter routes around that airport after finding a high risk of another collision.
